Night of Lights

Dealing with grief is one of the most difficult life events that we will experience. While adults anticipate times of grief, it is not reserved simply for adults. In fact, research indicates that children are currently the most under-served bereaved population.

Hospice of West Alabama provides bereavement care to the Tuscaloosa community and surrounding areas, therefore, we offer a special evening of healing and hope – Night of Lights. This is a free memorial celebration for children, teens, and their families who have experienced the loss of someone close to them.

Night of Lights provides a therapeutic activity that is specifically designed for children and teens to address the grieving process. The event will also include an opportunity for parents and/or guardians to participate and receive information to assist them in supporting their child or teen during the grieving process.

Please join us on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for Night of Lights at Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa.
